Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement

The UK Government have adopted a new ‘National lockdown from Tuesday 5th January. As part of these restrictions you can still attend places of worship for a service. However, you must not mingle with anyone outside of your household or support bubble.

The Churches of Sherwood Forest are in ‘National Lockdown: Stay at Home’ to help control the virus.

Everyone must stay at home and only leave for a limited set of reasons.

Please read latest advice on the GOV.UK website.

St Mary’s, Edwinstowe recommenced communal worship on Sunday 6th December at 11.00am and All Saints, Clipstone on Sunday 6th December at 9.30am.

Please also note the official UK Government guidance for face visors or shields.

A face visor or shield may be worn in addition to a face covering but not instead of one. This is because face visors or shields do not adequately cover the nose and mouth.

Therefore, a face visor or shield would not be considered an acceptable face covering while attending church.
