DUCK RACE
The Duck Race Picnic is an annual celebration where we gather together many plastic ducks and race them in our local river to raise money. There will be a prize for the winner of the race. so get in contact and follow our Facebook page for updates.
THE HARVEST FESTIVAL
Harvest Festival As you would expect from a farming community this is an important service in our year. Local villagers and workers attend with other visitors bringing a variety of produce and there are donations from the Thoresby Estate too. All are put to good use and passed on to good causes. There is always an amazing range of produce available – some we feel sure would win prizes as shows! Please feel free to join us in this celebration – see our Facebook page in the Autumn for details.
CAROL SERVICE
We all enjoy our annual Carol Service which often features our makeshift choir. We are happy for everyone to join us for the Monday Evening service and afterwards for refreshments in the Village Hall. We regularly have visitors from the Warner Hotel who say it sets them up for Christmas. Usually in early December, please see our Facebook page for details.
